Answer: We believe that customer service has become a lost art. Online purchases can be confusing and sometimes risky. We vow to respond to emails in a timely manner. Question: Do I need to use paypal?

Question: What is the purpose of the Butterfly Backdraft damper?
Answer: The Butterfly Backdraft Damper prevents air backdraft through kitchen, bath, forced air, solar, and other exhaust/intake systems. The dampers are made with a foam seal to reduce air leakage and eliminate closure noise. They are easy to install and maintenance free.
Question: What are the common uses for the dampered roof vent?
Answer: The dampered roof cap is used primarily for range hood venting, roof mount dryer venting and bath fan venting. The Dampered roof Vent is ideal for pitched roofs.
Question: Should I close off my roof vents in the winter months to keep hot air inside?
Answer: Absolutely not, Ventilating attic spaces in winter months is often more important than venting them in summer. Water vapor from the inside of a home can drift up and into an attic space. If this water vapor is not quickly exhausted to the exterior atmosphere, it can often condense upon the cold roof framing members and the underside of the roof sheathing. It can get so bad that water can drip from the underside of the roof and when the temperature gets low enough, frost can actually form up inside the attic. Moisture conditions such as this can lead to wood rot and mold growth.
