Company History: Tennis Traders company history dates back to the mid to late 1970's when Australian owner Wayne Mason opened up an NE Portland, Oregon tennis shop and call the tennis shop Mr. Tennis. In 1982 Dan Moore purchased Mr. Tennis and renamed the business Players Racquet Shop. Then in 1992 Dan Moore sold the business to Brian Shrock. Also in 1992 Bob Seibel of Seibel's Racquet Shop sold his Beaverton, Oregon based business to Mr. Shrock. Mr. Shrock then renamed Seibel's Racquet Shop to Players Racquet Shop which allowed Mr. Shrock to capitalize on the East and West Portland locations. Then in 2007 Courtside Tennis which had a Bend, Salem, Eugene and Sacramento location went out of business and the company was divided up and sold and Mr. Shrock then purchased Courtside Tennis' Internet Business called Tennis Traders. - Tennis Traders
