Question: What Are The Typical High-Performance Car Models?

Answer: Most manufacturers have a high-performance line or a sports car line, even in trucks and SUVs they carve out a niche that is more high-performance oriented. There is definitely a marketing strategy behind high-performance vehicles, if you ask why does a Ford F-150 need a performance line? Well first because there are certain people that would really like to have a differentiated vehicle that is known for it's quality and performance. The second reason is because having that high-performance model actually increases awareness and sales for their basic line since people associate the high-performance vehicle with their basic model and it elevates the perceived value of the original.
