Question: What Is The Life Of A Garage Door?

Answer: Today, garage doors normally last 10-15 years because they aren't made of the same quality steel as they used to be. By 8 - 10 years the rollers tend to wear out, and between 4 6 years is when the springs tend to wear out or break. The thing is, almost all of our steel comes from China nowadays and it just isn't as strong as it was when I first started and it was American steel.
