Question: When Did You First Read A Clive Cussler Book And How Did Your Relationship Begin?
Answer: My first Cussler read was RAISE THE TITANIC, his 1976 breakout novel. I`ve been a fan ever since. In 2000 I became aware that no hardcover edition of his early title, PACIFIC VORTEX, had ever been published and that collectors were clamoring for such a book. After receiving the go ahead from Clive to produce a hardcover, I interviewed several companies to do the production. VJ Books was the exclusive distributor for that title. We followed that with special editions of FIRE ICE, GOLDEN BUDDHA, VALHALLA RISING, SEA HUNTERS 2, SERPENT and BLUE GOLD.
