Question: When Should I Appraise My Primary Residence?

Answer: There are various cases where you might need an appraisal for legal purposes such as an estate, date of death, trust purpose, or relocation. If you're looking to sell your home you may want an appraisal to get an idea of how to price your property. If you need an appraisal for lending purposes please be aware that the lender will order an appraisal of their own and you are not able to provide them with an appraisal.
