Question: Will Remodeling Build The Equity Of Your Home?

Answer: That's a tougher question because it really depends on the home. If you have a kitchen that you redid a few years ago that you don't like anymore, that won't add too much value. But if you have a kitchen that is horrendous and antiquated, remodeling will be much more valuable.

The best way to answer that question is this: every project is different, but good design saves money to costing money. So a good designer will add value to your home both aesthetically and also by making sure the home as a consistent flow. A home that we worked on a few years ago sold recently, but they benefited significantly from our remodel because it was actually an award-winning project. That adds a lot of value, but not every renovation can be given that distinction.
