Questions and Answers About Healthcare Cleaning Services
Q: What sets CleanBeyond apart from all other cleaning companies?
A: While many companies have jumped on the bandwagon claiming to be "Green Clean", all too often the green products they use do not work as well as conventional cleaners and disinfectants. You are led to feel good about how environmentally-friendly the products are, but they simply are not always effective in getting surfaces really clean, nor are they effective at killing bacteria and viruses. Now, after years of research and development, there's a more effective approach, and it's the hallmark of CleanBeyond.
What sets CleanBeyond apart from all other cleaning companies is simple. They bring healthcare cleaning standards to everyday living. While most companies clean for appearance, CleanBeyond cleans for your health. Cleaning for health is as important as exercising, eating healthy and getting the proper amount of sleep. Everything we do, from using safe EPA-approved Healthcare-Clean disinfectant cleaners that kill molds and eliminate odors to vacuuming with a unique four-level filtration system, makes your home safer and healthier. We work each and every day with one goal in mind… provide our customers with a beautiful, safe, clean environment.
Q: Does CleanBeyond bring experience to the cleaning industry?
A: Our management team has over 20 years in the medical industry and over 13 years in both residential and commercial cleaning. By partnering together, they want to offer their customers a unique approach to cleaning. Over the last decade, cleaning companies have jumped on the bandwagon with "Green Cleaning" but all too often, these green products fall short and do not work as well as conventional cleaning products. CleanBeyond Goes Beyond... we have worked closely with an allergist to design a safe hospital based cleaning process for all areas our customers inhabit.
Q: What steps does CleanBeyond take to insure customer safety?
A: Every CleanBeyond Specialist is an employee and required to wear a uniform and identification badge while on the job. CleanBeyond has a zero tolerance policy, they monitor for drug use, poor quality work and irresponsible work habits. Their employees are all bonded and covered for worker's compensation and liability insurance.
Q: How does the CleanBeyond Process measure up to killing mold spores and odors?
A: Their disinfectant cleaners are also super-effective when it comes to killing mold spores and eliminating odors. Often, removing mold and bacteria can involve using strong chemicals, such as chlorine bleach products. These types of caustic solutions can produce trihalomethanes (THM) and haloacetic acids (HAAS), that may trigger health problems which are linked to cancer. CleanBeyond's products contain only chemicals ruled to be safe and non-cargenogenic - safe enough for any surface in your home or facility.
Q: CleanBeyond products are used in schools and hospitals, but are they safe enough to use in the home?
A: Yes. CleanBeyond's unique disinfectants are absolutely safe to use in all areas of your home. In addition to using them in the kitchen to keep food preparation surfaces clean, they are perfect for musty basements and bathrooms where mildew and mold tend to grow. We even use our products to sanitize carpeted areas
Q: Which viruses does CleanBeyond Excel Disinfecting Vapor Treatment kill?
A: Their Disinfecting Vapor Treatment "CleanBeyond Excel" kills microorganisms including viruses, mycobacterium and bacteria. Unlike other chemical biocides, disinfectants and many antibiotics, our disinfectant not only kills the bacteria, but it disrupts the mitochondrial DNA thus eliminating any possibility of resistance mutation.
Q: How does CleanBeyond minimize harmful chemicals in the environment while maximizing cleaning power?
A: By replacing traditional cleaning chemicals with CleanBeyond's product line we're able to kill 99.99999% of the core of the virus instead of the shell like other cleaning products. Most cleaning companies use 4th and 5th generation of Quat Cleaners (common name brand and hospital disinfectants are known as quats). The problem with quats is the virus becomes immune to the cleaner allowing "Super Bugs" to survive.
Q: What are the advantages of using electrostatic sprayers to disperse CleanBeyond's disinfectanct?
A: An electrostatic sprayer is the quickest, most efficient way to clean a room, basement, or an entire school gym. In a matter of minutes, a fine mist can treat objects, walls, floors, and ceilings. CleanBeyond uses a non-corrosive, non-staining cleaner & disinfectant to treat environmental surfaces.
Q: What is Cross Contamination?
A: Homes, schools and work environment may be an ideal place for microorganisms to flourish if we fail to prevent cross contamination in our living spaces. Cross contamination is when we carry bacteria from one object to another object; from one object to a person; or from person to person. It's been a long-time concern in the both the food and health care industries, but also poses a health threat in other environments where people congregate. Read More
Q: Why does CleanBeyond use flat mops rather than conventional string mops?
A: CleanBeyond uses a color-coded microfiber flat mop system that can be used wet or dry. When used with CleanBeyond's products this type of mop showed superior microbial elimination compared with conventional string mops. Conventional string mops remove only 64% of microbes compared to microfiber mops that remove 94%. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) noted that because microfiber pads can be changed from room to room, the possibility of transplanting microbes from one place to another was significantly reduced, minimizing the risk of cross contamination.
