Nesting Questions
and Answers

Wendy Bellissimo
1. Is my information private?
No one else can see your homepage but you. And you have complete
control over how much of your profile information is visible to
other Nesting.com members. Simply click “My Account” in the upper
right and select the “Privacy” tab. Here you can adjust all of your
privacy settings to your choosing. Decide what information you want
to be completely private, available only to your Nesting.com
friends, or public to everyone. It's up to you!
2. Is Nesting.com free?
Nesting is 100% free, and is supported
by the ads you see around the site.
3. How is Nesting.com different from
other social networking sites?
Nesting.com is more than a social
networking site - it's a personal assistant that helps you keep on
top of every detail of your busy family life. Our innovative tools
are fully customizable, and tasks that used to take days now only
take minutes. Most social networking sites are primarily about
meeting new people. But we know that parents are busy, and it's more
important for them to stay connected with their existing social
network of people that are already in their lives, rather than
create an entirely new group of people that they need to keep in
touch with.
4. What is tagging and why do I want
to do it?
Tagging is an easy way to organize your
information. You can tag photos and journal entries with who/what
they are about, and later on when you need to find something
specific, it only take seconds. Both our Memories Manager and
Journal nests have a Tag Filter on the left side of the page that
allows you to easily type in words and find photos and information
that relate to the tags.
5. Can I order prints, photo books,
and other keepsakes of my pictures in Memories Manager?
Of course! Our partnership with
Shutterfly.com makes this a snap. Launching in the second quarter of
2008, with just a few clicks the photos you choose will be imported
into Shutterfly's website where you can place an order for any of
their products.
6. Why is nesting.com better than
just coordination with the traditional phone calls and emails?
Trading phone calls and emails back and
forth between multiple moms wastes a lot of time. It scatters
information between lots of people and makes the simple process of
setting up activities overwhelming. Nesting.com interconnects moms
and activity leaders who are already using this outdated way of
organizing and gives them a clean and simple place to centralize
their calendars, conversations and photos. As each mom in her
personal network of friends does simple actions like putting an
event on a calendar all related moms get the information and can
quickly integrate it into their own schedules and life. Nesting.com
saves moms time.
