How do you know if a toy is safe for your child?
We have a team of experts – physical therapist, child psychologist,
speech pathologist and 300 moms on our mother board that play with
and rate each and every toy on our site. Moreover, we looked at
5,000 toys and selected the best 400. Then, we went a step further
and set the toys into 3 month increments – because even if a toy
says ‘3 years and up’ it is really better for a 3 ½ year old.
Are toys made in America better than overseas toys?
It really depends on the manufacturer. Many of the American toy
makers make toys overseas. And many of the European toy makers are
more specialty manufacturers. The bottom line is safety. And the US
has the best guidelines for safety. We have no toys from the US or
overseas that do not comply with US manufacturing guidelines.
Why is it important to test the toys before selling them?
That is simple: because no matter how good a toy looks, the way it
performs ‘under stress’ is often very different. We test EVERY toy
on the site – at the office, with our experts and with 300 moms to
make sure we are 100%. We can not be 99.9% - that is not good
enough.
How does a program like this benefit parents?

receive are the ‘best’ out there. Our culled down list saves time in
ordering and more importantly has done all the toy testing.

with a custom instruction card – that tells the parents how to get
