123Inkjets Questions and Answers

What is scrapbooking?

Scrapbooking is a great way to preserve memories while you exercise your creativity. Instead of simply placing photos or memorabilia in an album, personalize your albums with unique pages. Photographs can be embellished, backgrounds glued, rubber stamped pages, stickers, cards, drawings, cut-outs and newspaper clippings can all be used to embellish your album. Turn scrapbooking into an exciting experience that can last a lifetime.

What basic tools does someone need to start scrapbooking?

Start by selecting a great scrapbooking album and refill pages for your specific album. Size and color are very important because this sets the theme for your album. Next, you will need a good pair of scissors and journal pens. Be sure the pens are acid-free, permanent pens with fine tips for hand writing. Cardstock, printed paper and acid-free adhesive should complete the basic supply list.

Why is scrapbooking a fun activity?

Just walking through the local craft store gives you an idea of why scrapbooking is so fun and popular. With so many templates, stamps, stickers and colored pens, who wouldn’t love scrapbooking. It’s also a fun way to show off those photos which have been sitting in a box.

Is scrapbooking expensive?

Let’s put it this way, scrapbooking isn’t cheap. With so many supplies, tools, papers, books, stickers, etc. to choose from, it’s easy to get carried away. However, it is possible to create incredible scrapbooks and not break the bank. If you have a general idea of what you are looking to create before going to the local craft store, it’s easier to stay within your budget. Also, buying a higher ticket item, like a Cricut machine, is worth the investment, as it saves time and helps prevent costly mistakes.

What are the latest trends in scrapbooking?

Although traditional scrapbooking will always be popular, the latest trends in scrapbooking are tools that help get the job done quickly. A machine like the Cricut will eliminate the time it takes trace and cut each shape, border or letter. You will also get cleaner, more elaborate pages, faster.

What is a Cricut machine?

The Cricut machine is a revolutionary personal cutting system that’s perfect for making cards, scrapbooking and paper crafting. The Cricut machine cuts customized designs, shapes, letters and phrases without using a computer. The complete Cricut line has everything you need: cartridges that contain complete alphabet shape sets, cutting mats, cutting blades, paper-shaping tools, and a storage tote. With no computer required, the Cricut machine goes where you go. Just plug it in and turn it on!

Can you tell us about 123Inkjets success?

The American Dream is alive and well at 123inkjets, where President Mike Zaya has grown the inkjet cartridge business into a multimillion dollar business in just over five years. 123inkjets started when Mike realized that he was paying way too much for ink. It has grown into a complete line of compatible, remanufactured and OEM printer products that are affordable and environmentally friendly. His results speak for themselves, the company that started in his garage has sold 5 million cartridges. "We work hard to put our customers first, through great service, low prices & quality products" says Mike.
