Question: How Does A Person Become Exposed To Mold?



Answer: When molds are disturbed, they release spores into the air. A person can be exposed by breathing air containing the mold spores. Touching moldy items or eating moldy food also exposes or accidental hand-to-mouth contact. Keep in mind however, that everyone is exposed to airborne mold every day.
