Question: How Does Cardlock Hold Drivers Accountable For Their Fuel Use?

Answer: No business has the time to review Cardlock transaction logs continuously, however, they do have the right to review their logs at any time. What businesses can do is have their employees sign an HR form that acknowledges their responsibility for proper fuel usage. They acknowledge that they receive a unique PIN which they must protect, because any transactions made with that PIN will be associated to their name regardless of who actually enters the PIN. This prevents employees from sharing their unique code with co-workers because they will be held accountable. Dishonest employees could lose their job if they take fuel for personal use and are caught during transaction review.
