Question: When Was Achronix Founded?
Answer: Achronix started in 2004 and was primarily in the standalone FPGA space for many of the early years. Around 2013 we began research and development into the eFPGA space which seemed to be a natural evolution for us. eFPGAs are embedded FPGA IP which can be integrated inside an SoC (System On Chip) or an ASIC (Application System Integrated Circuit). We use these terms interchangeably.
