Question: How Does Coloring Work With Concrete And Concrete Stamps?

Answer: Integral color is mixed with the concrete before the concrete is poured. A more traditional coloring product is called color hardener. Color hardener is a colored powder that is broadcast out on top of the concrete, then floated in with a magnesium float tool. Depending upon what color you are looking for, more than one coat of color hardener can be applied in this manner. Water-based coloring is an additional coloring process that provides an extra dimension of color to concrete that already has an integral color or has been colored with a hardener.
