Company History: The company was started by Bill Bowen 25 years ago. He saw an opportunity to take on this kind of clientele since he knew something about them. He didn't think there were enough people marketing cattle ranches and farms exclusively in this part of the country. I got in it because I thought I could do the job. I know the cattle business after growing up in it so it's a good fit for me. Bill bought his partner out about 20 years ago. Back then, in 2002, my partner Bob Carper and I were just agents working for Bill Bowen. He sold each of us one third of the business and kept a third for himself. He recently decided to retire and sold his stake in the business to Bob and I. He still works here as an agent. -SW Ranch & Farm Sales
