Chapter 4: Tucson & The Telethon
West Coast department store giant and online retailer Curacao has recently donated funds to build the first rehabilitation center in Tucson, Arizona. Joining forces with the Teletón USA foundation, Curacao's generous donation was used specifically to assist underprivileged populations in Tucson's local communities. Curacao employees and customers were also able to make monetary contributions to this cause through designated donation collection boxes located within each store. To further raise awareness and encourage contributions, the stores engaged in a friendly competition to determine which branch would collect the most donations.
Curacao announced that its Chino store, located in Southern California, was the first branch to make a deposit toward the new rehabilitation center. This notable campaign is another example of Curacao's celebrated dedication and commitment to local communities, with prominent participation over the last three decades.
